Urstadt Land and Timber LLC

Urstadt Land & Timber provides forestry consulting services backed by extensive experience with the capability to deliver objective, data-driven analysis to support informed decision-making for forestland owners, agencies, and industry professionals. Our fieldwork is efficient and our assessments reflect the reality of forest operations.

We act as professional agents for our clients, making sure their objectives are well understood while we advance their goals with precision. We believe effective consulting depends on a comprehensive foundation: clear communication and expectations, strong academics, quality experience and knowledge of forestry operations, silviculture, the financial considerations, ecological understanding, and civic development.

We believe in hard, meaningful work and have deep experience delivering accurate results in exceptionally difficult terrain. Above all, we are committed to professional integrity and responsible forest stewardship—supporting productive landscapes, healthy ecosystems, and lasting economic opportunity.

Krystal joined Urstadt Land and Timber in 2022, bringing eight years of experience in business management and client relations. That range is what she brings to the administrative and operational side of the company.

In the years since, Krystal has helped run Urstadt Land and Timber day to day while building working skills across a range of forestry tasks, including forest inventory, timber harvest layout, GIS mapping, contract management, and grant application assistance. Her combination of business management and field capability helps the company to serve clients efficiently.

Associate Network

Urstadt Land and Timber works with a network of experienced consulting foresters and timber technicians who allow us to scale to larger projects when the work calls for it. This capacity means we can take on industrial levels of inventory and timber harvest management while keeping the same standards and oversight we bring to every engagement.

Beyond our forestry associates, we maintain vetted relationships with the loggers, log buyers, and reforestation specialists who carry out the on-the-ground work. Having spent years building these relationships, we can direct the right crew to your project rather than leaving you to gamble on an unknown. Every operation runs under contracts written to protect the landowner’s interests while remaining fair and dependable for the service providers who perform the work.

The result is a small firm with the reach of a much larger one, and a single point of accountability that answers to you.
