John Urstadt
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Forest Engineering, Oregon State University (2012)
– Emphasis in road system and logging design, hydrology, and forest economics
– Integrated coursework in engineering, silviculture, resource management, and sustainable forestry
Experience:
Over 17 years of professional experience in forestry.
– Past roles with Washington Department of Natural Resources, Idaho Department of State Lands, and the Bureau of Land Management
John currently oversees each project and leads a growing team of professionals. He brings significant expertise in adaptive forest management, timber valuation, timber harvest management, and the establishment and long-term care of forest stands. His well-rounded background enables him to serve both industrial and non-industrial landowners with a practical, results-driven approach. He regularly draws on his professional network to help private landowners access high-quality, cost-effective forest management services.
